We collect the email address you register with, basic account data, and information generated as you use REELM — such as viewing history, watch progress, device and browser information, IP address, approximate region, and subscription/order records.
We use your information to provide and secure the Service: to deliver streaming, remember your progress, process subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse, measure performance, provide support, and improve the product.
Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Airwallex, Stripe, or PayPal). Your full card number and security code are entered with and stored by the payment processor — REELM does not store your full card number. We keep only references (such as an order or subscription ID) needed to manage your membership.
We use cookies, local storage, and a browser/device fingerprint to keep you signed in, remember preferences, count views accurately, and detect fraud or abuse (for example the same device creating many accounts). We may use advertising and analytics tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
We share data only as needed to run the Service: with payment processors (to take payment), with advertising/analytics providers such as Meta (to measure campaigns), and with infrastructure/hosting providers. We do not sell your personal information.
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may close your account. To make a request, contact support@thereelm.com.
The Service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
REELM operates internationally. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
